Nowadays, it's more peaceful place with circa 150 people occupying many of those same houses. It is a beautiful setting for exploring the wonderful local counrtyside including Constable Country and the wool towns of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare and Cavendish.

Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location.
Beautiful cottage in idyllic position. Beautiful gardens and comfortable and cosy despite the chilly weather. We loved it. Thank you
Property was perfect for our requirements and presented to a high standard
Lovely comfy beds. Everything there we could wish for. The welcome pack was great and pretty essential given no shop in the village. Although we did then discover the produce stall with honesty box opposite the pub which is a great resource. Wish we had one here at home!
Very, very comfortable and a relaxing place to spend time.
