Explore the Suffolk countryside and coast when you stay at this enticing, single-storey holiday retreat near the village of Wilby. Located 2.5 miles from Stradbroke, the two-bedroom, luxury lodge has a contemporary barn style and could be ideal for a small family or two couples on a break together. It enjoys an enclosed, lawned garden, plus access to a shared 2.5-acre woodland.

Let yourselves into the bright abode and wander through to the lounge to create a warming glow with the wood burner on chilly days or to pull open the French windows on to the garden on lovely spring and summer days. Find a film on the Smart TV, play your favourite tunes through the music system or take out your books to enjoy some quiet time together. Make your way through to the kitchen/diner to prepare light snacks and impressive meals for your family and friends, then set the table so you can sit down to enjoy them together. The bedrooms, comprising a double and a twin, at this beautifully presented hideaway are just as inviting as the living spaces. There is also a family bathroom and access to a shared, external laundry. Bask in sunshine on fine mornings and sip a glass of chilled wine out here on summer nights. There is ample parking at the property.

Lace up your walking boots and stride out on scenic country walks from the doorstep. Head into Framlingham, 8 miles away, to browse in the independent shops and see the magnificent castle. Have a day out on the coast at Dunwich, 18 miles away, where there is a long sandy beach and colourful heath to explore. Visit Diss, 12.5 miles away, to spend time at one of its fascinating auctions and even bid for an antique or item of interest.

Beautiful lodge in the owners garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. All rubbish was collected by leaving it outside the door. Bags etc provided. Nice welcome pack.

Our Family came to visit Sundial Lodge for a pre Christmas break. We had a fantastic time! The house was beautifully presented and the way every detail had been thought about was great. The owners are extremely considerate and made us feel immediately welcome. We will certainly be staying again if we get the chance. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Thank you for a comfortable stay. We have enjoyed visiting the local area. Minsmere was my favourite but Sutton Hoo, Framlingham Castle and Aldeburgh were great too. Fish and chips in Aldeburgh were great and the seagulls were well behaved and didn't try to steal any. We also had a tasty takeaway curry from Prince of India in Framlingham.
