Newly built with the holidaymaker in mind, 3 Oaks Court is a beautiful holiday home in the heart of the popular coastal village of Thorpeness that has been stylishly furnished to provide a truly tranquil and relaxing getaway. Constructed in 2018/19 - 3 Oaks Court has all the mod-cons you could possibly need on a self-catering holiday including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Smart TV. Pair this with the calming palette of white, mustard, grey and brown and the convenient off-street parking space and you may just have found a holiday home you'll be itching to return to! 

The front door opens onto a deceptively spacious hallway. With a straight staircase on the left hand side, there's space to hang coats and store walking boots if required. A useful ground floor cloakroom can also be found just inside. Towards the end of the hallway, an open plan room wraps around to the right and is a really sociable space whatever your age or occasion. A sitting area looks towards the Smart TV and enclosed garden, whilst the dining table makes not only a great space for board games and jigsaws, but also a comfortable space to enjoy a home-cooked meal (or chips from the Aldeburgh fish and chip shop!) The kitchen is tucked at the front of the house and houses fully fitted units with the perfect mixture of storage and equipment to ensure dining in is a breeze. 

If the ground floor alone is not enough to tempt you, wait until you discover upstairs... Guests have the choice of two bedrooms from a selection of three. Two bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished with a double bed and two singles on the first floor, whilst the third bedroom with king bed commands the second floor, along with a lovely ensuite shower room. Wardrobe storage in each provides a great hanging solution and is very convenient for those attending weddings at the nearby Thorpeness Country Club - or merely those wishing to make themselves at home. The family bathroom provides both a bath and over-bath shower on the first floor; ensuring that all needs and tastes are catered for. 

To the rear, an enclosed garden makes a great space for al-fresco dining. Complete with patio area and stylish shingle beds; you can even enjoy it through the french doors in the sitting area should you wish to bring the outdoors in! If you're wishing to venture out of these thoughtfully designed four walls, then the village pub, The Dolphin, is within staggering distance (about a 2 minute walk) and has a lovely beer garden to the front with plenty of tables for al-fresco dining. The beach, too, is only a 5 minute walk away and of course, not forgetting the famous meare which is also within walking distance. Those who wish to venture further will enjoy a pleasant stroll down towards Aldeburgh via the coastal footpath, here too, you'll find a fantastic array of independent shops and eateries, as well as a theatre and small cinema.

Just a mile north of Aldeburgh is this fascinating seaside village, built in the 1920s by Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie, an architect, barrister and playwright. The mock Tudor style of building is now the hallmark of Thorpeness, where the amenities include the Dolphin Inn, the Thorpeness Hotel with its 18-hole golf club, a country club with tennis courts and the Mere - a large shallow boating lake with tearooms nearby. The beaches are mainly sandy and behind the village is a myriad of footpaths over heath and common land.
