Westleton is a pretty village midway between Aldeburgh and Southwold, with the coast at Dunwich only two and a half miles away. Centred around a large green, Westleton is one of the most popular places to stay on the Heritage Coast. It is an ideal base for walking, bird watching, cycling and closely located to Minsmere, as well as the coastal heaths and forests. There are two good pubs, a second-hand book shop and a well-stocked village store/post office - all in the village centre. Much of the area around the village is accessible open heath or mixed woodland, ideal for walkers and there is a new, lottery funded playground.

Our holiday was a mixture of bird watching, walking, reading and relaxing. Having a foot path 30 seconds away takes some beating. The cottage and setting is delightful and looking out from the lounge over the green is a view I'd like to take home. I liked the back garden at Sunnyside which is larger than it first seems.
Our second visit this year and just as enjoyable as ever. This cottage takes a lot of beating and is very central for all the walks.
This was our first visit to the area, and to this cottage and we hope to return to both! Thank you for the use of this lovely and well equipped cottage.
A lovely peaceful week away from city life. The cottage is the most well equipped property we've rented in Westleton after many holidays here.
We have spent two lovely peaceful weeks at Sunnyside. Thank you so much - a gorgeous cottage to stay in, everything anyone could possib ly need. And so near the Suffolk countryside and the sea. We have just 'pottered about'....brilliant!
Our first visit to Westleton and Sunnyside. We love both! The cottage is very homely and well equipped and perfectly placed to enjoy so many different places - Minsmere, Dunwich beach, Snape Maltings (brilliant concert), Aldeburgh and Southwold. The antique centre at Yoxford is great and the Walled Garden Nursery and gardens are absolutely gorgeous. So much to do, so little time.
Lovely friendly village with good amenities and friendly locals. Brilliant for dog owners with two pubs and a shop where dogs are welcome. The cottage was well equipped with nice bedding and bathrooms. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all. - Mrs Jen Davies
Our second stay at Westleton and Sunnyside. We love this peaceful little village and the very friendly locals. Our dog has loved exploring the beaches, heath and garden.
Our first stay at Sunnyside. Kitchen perfect for true self-catering, especially having a Waitrose in Saxmundham. Very much appreciated the extensive selection of books.
We found the property very light and well laid out. The kitchen in particular was very homely with every appliance to make our stay relaxed and comfortable.
Many visits to Westleton but the first to Sunnyside. A lovely cottage offering every comfort. Lots of good birds at Minsmere and Dunwich.
