Fantastic views of the sea and the incredible landscape all the way over to Walberswick from this elegant Georgian holiday home in Southwold. Sleeping up to eight guests, the spacious three-bedroom home is spread across two storeys and looks out across the historic South Green and the viewpoint of Gun Hill. The property, which is perfect for an extended family break or a celebration for friends, is less than 150 metres from the sandy beach and only a few minutes from the local shops, pubs, and eateries. 

Make your way up 10 steps to the splendid balcony and front door of this impressive period property and enter to find stylish accommodation flooded with light, due to its high ceilings and large windows.  

There is a WC downstairs and, in the hallway, plenty of hanging and storage space for shoes and coats. Here you will also find outdoor rattan furniture, to be used on the balcony.  

From the entrance hall, wander through into the large lounge to settle back on the soft seating and watch TV or lose yourselves in the stunning sea views. Whip up meals for your friends and family in the kitchen, then enjoy them in the dining room, which has large French doors looking over South Green and capture the spectacular views of the harbour and Walberswick beyond. From here you can walk out onto the balcony which runs the length of the dining room. This outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views day or night. Sitting on the balcony, you are sheltered from the sea breeze and can enjoy sun for most of the day and well into the evening, for a beautiful sunset.  

Head up to the floor above to a family shower room overlooking the sea, with a washing machine and tumble dryer, then onto the large central hallway, with additional seating for relaxing and enjoyment of quieter moments. There is also separate WC off the hallway. 

From here, you enter the king-size bedroom, with spectacular sea views, and its en-suite bathroom, which has a bath and integrated shower. 

You follow the hallway to access the other bedrooms. A double bedroom, with en-suite shower room and a family bedroom, encompassing a double bed and a pair of bunks. Both bedrooms enjoy beautiful views overlooking the green and beyond. 

This property is ideally situatedGrab your buckets and spades and walk to the beach in a few minutes; or walk less than 1 mile down to Southwold Harbour. Here you can go crabbing, buy fresh seafood from shacks; enjoy local eateries and take the rowing boat ferry over to Walberswick, which also has a lovely beach. Walk down towards the beach and along the seafront promenade in the other direction to amble out along the pier, experience the under-the-pier show and go boating on the lake. There is plenty to do on and around the pier, with many eateries and coffee shops.

We keep coming back to this amazing property which is less than a minute from the beach and a lovely safe green at the front. It's a comfortable home from home. We would highly recommend for a beach holiday.
