Boasting an overall sense of spaciousness, this three-storey terrace presents large windows that let natural light in and fresh white walls with colour-pop accents. Step inside to be greeted by a versatile utility room and access to the courtyard on the ground floor. From here, ascend a flight of stairs to reach the hub of the house, its lounge/kitchen/diner with a sunny balcony through French doors. This modern L-shaped space boasts all you may need for relaxing mornings and evenings lounging indoors. On the second floor find two marvellous king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and French doors leading to a Juliet balcony – a dream to wake up to each morning.

With its sandy beach, bustling town centre and a line-up of multicoloured beach huts, this quintessentially British seaside town is a joy to explore. Stay local to discover a tour of the town’s landmark lighthouse, browse the boutique shops or try a local tipple at the famous Adnams Brewery (all within 0.5 miles). Overall 2 Sole Bay Terrace met our needs very well, it is well equipped and clean, the car port is spacious and provided accessible off street parking. The property, whilst on the edge of Southwold, is within 10 minutes walk of the town's attractions and sea front. A very enjoyable stay.

Very well equipped, good quality fittings, spotlessly clean, easy to find. Slightly out of town so ten minute walk to shops and beach, overall one of the very best holiday properties we have rented. Highly recommended 5*
