Only real negatives were almost too much equipment in a very small kitchen made it difficult to prepare food -a glass surface saver over the gas rings would have helped. Plus our one-act stated the hours for arrival and departure as 4pm and 10am however a notice displayed in the kitchen said departure was at 9am. Otherwise a lovely cottage in a Read moreBeautiful part of Southwold. Hide

The property was as described and was of a high quality. The heating of the property was excellent and we were always warm. We did have issues with parking with next door parking outside or near the property such that we could not get our car in the other spaces and also the noise from them at night (after 11). We have stayed in a number of cottageRead mores on that development before and never had either of these issues. Hide

Spotlessly clean cottage, close enough to Southwold but far enough away to be peaceful. Excellent quality furniture and plenty of space in the cottage. Sunshine in the courtyard all day meant we could have breakfast outside each morning and be nicely secluded if we dined al fresco. Super comfy beds with quality linens and plenty of towels. Kitchen Read morewas very well equipped for its size, washer/dryer microwave dishwasher etc but also having cooking pots and pans of all sizes which you would find in a kitchen at home. Allocated parking space outside the cottage may prove an issue with a large car, however this did not affect us and there are further parking spaces in the road. Lovely welcome pack, very nice gesture. Thank you! Hide
