Reydon is the neighbouring village to the seaside town of Southwold – the two are divided by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of the past used to tie up. Reydon is a charming village which has expanded over the years and has become very popular with holidaymakers and second home-owners due to its proximity to Southwold. There is a foothpath leading from the Lowestoft Road directly to the seafront which only takes ten minutes to walk. Reydon has the added advantage of two village shops, a health centre (recently re-located from Southwold), a village hall and The Randolph Hotel which is popular with the village locals. Reydon offers lots of great walks, cycle routes and in spring time Reydon Woods Nature Reserve is a must-see with its gorgeous spread of bluebells. The village also offers good links to the village of Blythburgh and Kessingland.

Reviews

Fantastic stay, wonderful accommodation. Couldn't wish for more. Will recommend to friends and family. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Previous Customer,

Very pleasant stay in a warm and comfortable house. Enjoyed exploring the area - Sutton Hoo, Norwich Cathedral and Scaretacular at the Maize Maze were brilliant. Adnams Brewery tour is recommended and we had some lovely bicycle rides round by the harbour - excellent and cheap cycle hire from Finch's garage. Lovely shops in town, doughnuts from Magpie Bakery are amazing but make sure you go early! Absolute favourite was crabbing at Walberswick. P.s Randolph pub is very good for food/drink and gave us a warm welcome with our guide dog Quest.

Previous Customer,

Very comfortable, beautifully furnished accomodation in a great location. Nice and quiet in the evenings but only a short stroll into Southwold. Very nicely equipped too. If your not used to the water , we recommend you use the Brita water filter. There is a secure garden for dogs. We enjoyed many walks all around Southwold, the beaches, common, promenade and dunes. Also Aldeburgh, and we took the little ferry boat over to Walberswick where both pubs were nice and welcoming. All of the Southwold pubs are very friendly, welcoming and dog friendly (apart from The Swan). We had a lovely stay, thank you very much!

Previous Customer,

Lovely property finished to a high standard and with all the amenities you need. Great location to walk into Southwold. We had a great time on the beach, crabbing at the harbour and wandering around the shops. Thank you for a lovely long weekend.

Previous Customer,

Lovely stay, lovely area, perfect location for crabbing and beachtime fun. Thanks for a great time.

Previous Customer,

A most enjoyable week. Lovely house and garden. We particularly enjoyed a visit to the RSPB at Minsmere to dissect owl pellets.

Previous Customer,

Very well equipped and spotlessly clean newly renovated property

Mr Jon B,

Great house and area. We have really enjoyed our stay here. The house and town are very dog friendly. The beach is dog free on the main area, however if you walk to the end of the prom, dogs are allowed on the beach between the last hut and harbour. We can recommend crabbing at Walberswick, just drive down to harbour pub and park. Walk over foot bridge & 10 minute walk down harbour on far side to reach crabbing area.

Previous Customer,
