Ataraxia, translating as a serene state of mind and free from worry and preoccupation, is a cosy retreat for three guests in the village of Reydon. This self-catering cottage is only a short walk from the seaside town of Southwold with its beautiful beach and quirky Pier. Winter breaks can be enjoyed in this holiday cottage with its roaring woodburner and homely feel and during the summer there is a pretty courtyard for soaking up the sun. The small but perfectly formed kitchen with its shaker style units is fully equipped with all the necessities for creating a culinary delight - in particular the Range cooker and large hob is a real bonus. With its tucked away location on a no-through road, this property makes the perfect quiet escape along the Suffolk coast. Shop: 0.1 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.

Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats of long ago used to tie up. All properties have easy access to the beaches and town centre amenities by road or the various footpaths. Reydon boasts two well stocked village stores as well as the Randolph Hotel which has an excellent restaurant and friendly bar.

The cottage was great. It was clean and comfortable. Really well equipped and just a short walk from Southwolds shops and beach

The cottage is comfortable and suitable for two or three people and is ideally located near to Southwold (only a short walk away).

The property lived up to its name: total bliss and very relaxing. Utterly peaceful apart from the neighbours TV in the evening through the thin wall and the creaky floorboards leading to the toilet. Well appointed cottage, thoughtfully equipped and comfortable. Very warm so no need for the wood burner! Handy shop at end of road. 15 minutes walk to Southwold.
