Within half a mile of a wild, expansive and sandy dune-backed beach, this delightful cottage makes a fantastic retreat for families, friends and couples seeking an idyllic getaway in a charming part of Suffolk. Set on the outskirts of the cheerful coastal village of Kessingland, the property has ample space for up to six guests and has been beautifully updated to make a relaxing holiday getaway. Featuring a wood burner, exposed brickwork, wooden flooring and a stylish freestanding clawfoot roll-top bath, this fresh, colourful cottage is an ideal hideaway for keen walkers and nature lovers.

Entering the cottage, the spacious and light-filled lounge/diner has a wood burner, plenty of soft furnishings and a Smart TV, providing a great space to snuggle up to watch a movie in the evening. The handsome dining area is just behind the main lounge, perfect for enjoying a sociable family meal which you can cook in the fully equipped galley-style kitchen. The elegantly tiled family bathroom is also on the ground floor. Heading up the steep cottage-style staircase, the first floor features three bright and cosy bedrooms: a cheerful king-size room with a feature fireplace, and a sweet bunk bedroom which is accessed via a charming double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe. Outside, the cheerful courtyard garden has a table and chairs, and makes a lovely spot for a morning coffee as you get ready to explore a beautiful part of the Suffolk coastline.

Kessingland is ideally situated for exploring the coast and countryside of north Suffolk. The thriving seaside town of Lowestoft (7 miles) is home to a beautiful beach, Normanston Park, the East Anglia Transport Museum and Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park. Other local attractions include Henstead Exotic Gardens, Southwold Maize Maze, Africa Alive and Benacre National Nature Reserve, all within 9 miles.
