Escape to this beautiful holiday cottage which sleeps ten guests in the seaside village of Walberswick. Situated in a stunning coastal setting surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is the perfect retreat for a group getaway or family outing in Suffolk. With blissful relaxation areas both inside and outside of the property, as well as sea views, wood burners and a vast balcony, this special home is sure to impress the whole party.
An entrance hall at the ground-floor level opens into a spacious lounge, furnished with comfortable seating and a wood burner. French doors open onto the terrace area, providing a beautiful view of the garden. Up some steps from here is a second lounge space centred around a Smart TV, with another cosy wood burner. When you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen (up a small step) has everything you could possibly need to self-cater, and the dining room beyond has a ten-seater table for everyone to gather around. Completing the ground floor is a family shower room. On the first floor, you can choose between five gorgeous bedrooms, some with sea views, and all bar one offering access to the balcony. As well as the furnished first-floor balcony, there is a large garden with far-reaching sea views. Here, you can dine alfresco on sunny days using the table and chairs.
Less than half a mile from the house, you can explore the sandy beach and pretty harbour or enjoy the local tradition of crabbing contests. Keen ramblers can traverse the Suffolk Coast Path or the nearby Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles), while those wanting a traditional bucket and spade day out can take the ferry for a short ride over to Southwold, 8 miles away.
