One of three superbly designed traditional Suffolk barns, this characterful property, situated close to the coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is perfect for couples, families or friends looking for a restful holiday. It is the ideal base for exploring Aldeburgh and the nearby countryside and coast. Situated on a working farm, the children will love meeting all the farm animals.
This striking two-storey traditional red brick Suffolk barn retains much of its original studwork, while the attractive exposed wooden beams create a unique setting for enjoying quality time together. Welsh slate covers the ground floor and has underfloor heating to keep things toasty during winter stays. Step into a spacious open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen area and relax into the comfortable seating, toss a log onto the wood burner on cooler evenings and cosy up to watch your favourite shows on TV. The kitchen has all the contemporary appliances you expect, making rustling up your favourite dishes a breeze. Head up the wooden staircase to the first-floor landing and you’ll find a stylish bathroom and two delightful bedrooms - one king-size and one with two single beds. French doors open from the sitting room directly onto a paved terrace with garden furniture for al fresco dining. There is also a private hot tub to ease tired muscles. A large shared, lawned garden and a shared games room complete the features for this attractive rural retreat.
There are many local attractions to enjoy, and it is worth spending a day exploring the village of Snape (2.5 miles) looking around the independent shops and galleries and tasting the delicious local produce in the food hall.
