Swallows is just what we look for. A comfy and well equipped house in the countryside with plenty of quiet dog walks from the gate. A short drive from the sea with shopping not too many miles away. We would happily stay at Swallows again.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views. Dog friendly with a big secure garden. We found it to be very peaceful but in a good location to visit areas around us.

All was good and peaceful location and would not object to revisiting should the opportunity arise. Lots of easy walks on a multitude of local footpaths, and the dogs did enjoy trying to chase the pheasants and hares. Was very dog friendly/suitable. But, would actually be a mite concerned to rent again as the stairs were very narrow, treads very Read morenarrow and it would be much safer if there was a handle on the right hand upright. Would be especially concerned if we'd have had a young child with us and needed to carry up/down regulalrly, albeit stair gates were avaialble. Hide

Great location for countryside and coast. Very dog friendly with some great walks within a few minutes. Local pub very hospitable. House was clean and comfortable. A bit over priced and would feel small for a larger family but fine for the three of us. We had a very relaxing stay.

The location had been taken into account when booking and which placed us half way between Southwold and Woodbridge so great for touring the area

Cleanliness was mainly good but on closer inspection wasnt that great. Lots of cobwebs around the house and ground in dirt around the base of the washing machine. Windows needed a good clean too. And there was an infestation of ants in the kitchen.

There were a number of minor maintenance issues - tap leaking badly in en-suite, torches and some lights not working, toaster onto partly working etc which should have been looked at before we arrived. The cottage was lovely and the location fantastic. The only other issue was a 9 am departure being unrealistic especially as we had to tidy up, remoRead moreve linen and buy our own bin liners for this which was a bit frustrating. Hide
