Description

Samphire is a bright, modern and immaculately presented holiday home situated on the edge of Church Farm, a modern development at the north end of Aldeburgh.  The beach and Aldeburgh's iconic seaside sculpture 'The Scallop' are just a few minutes' walk away, whilst the shops and cafés of the High Street take just a few minutes more.

This three storey self-catering dwelling is the discerning holiday maker's choice.  The master bedroom on the second floor is bright and spacious and makes the most of the splendid views north towards Thorpeness across the marshes.  The twin bedroom is very spacious, suitable for children or adults and there are separate living areas on the ground floor and first floor, each with TV and a log burning stove and feature electric fire respectively.

The kitchen is perfect for family living with a large dining table and a fabulous range style cooker (not that you'll need it with all the wonderful restaurants in Aldeburgh and along the Suffolk Coast).

Outside, the paved patio and landscaped garden are the perfect places to end a summer day.
Shop: 500 yards Pub: 500 yards.

Aldeburgh and the surrounding area have inspired many authors and poets in the past. One such figure who was influenced significantly was Benjamin Britten. Britten is most well known for founding the worldwide acclaimed Aldeburgh Music Festival, held every year in June in various locations in and around Aldeburgh. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach here and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts along the promenade. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.
