Set along a row of candy-coloured coastal houses, this striking seaside cottage features a charming courtyard and boasts a prime location in the heart of Aldeburgh. Groups of friends and families will adore a restorative retreat here alongside their favourite furry amigo. Those with a nose for botanicals can sample delicate flavours during a guided tour of the Fishers Gin Distillery (300 metres), before gathering on the suntrap patio for a fresh al fresco supper.

This traditional property features an elegant interior with wooden flooring, grand bay windows, and tranquil seascapes throughout. Step into the bright lounge/diner and sink onto the squishy sofas with a post-adventure brew. Unwind with a film or fire up the wood burner effect electric fire in cooler months. Marking a special occasion? Gather around the wooden table bathed in the light of the bay window and raise a celebratory toast. Prop open the patio door and enjoy the gentle summer breeze. Whip up some dessert in the sunny shaker kitchen with vibrant tiling. Rinse off sandy toes in the ground floor bathroom before retiring upstairs to the bedrooms. Choose from a stylish double with sea views or a light-flooded twin with a feature bay window. Enjoy breakfast in the sheltered courtyard adorned with playful bunting and a delightful nautical mural.

Crunch along the shingly shoreline of Aldeburgh Beach (100 metres) then indulge in a bag of salty chips or smoked fish. Culture lovers can settle in for a performance at the intimate Aldeburgh Summer Theatre (100 metres). Spot local bird species as you peddle the circular trail through Snap Warren (5 miles) then refuel with fresh bakes and barista coffee at the dog-friendly Malt Cafe (5 miles).

A lovely cottage on the High Street, very close to restaurants, pubs, shops and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Very quiet, despite being on the High Street. We will be staying here again.

Good location, clean and cosy cottage, the welcome pack was very nice. Toilet downstairs should be advised about as difficult for older or less able people. The electrics tripped twice, the toaster is partially broken and the bedroom door only shuts after pulling hard due to sticking on carpet.and the tv upstairs has no signal so redundant,I have notedRead more these in the maintenance book.Without these faults I would have given top marks. Grubby, poorly equipped, very tired property. Obvious lack of investment with oven not working, window blinds broken and general air of neglect. Even the milk provided in the welcome pack was a week past BBE date. Not impressed.
