Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends. Aldeburgh is also home to one of the oldest golf clubs in Suffolk.

Ms J R,

Great time at Lazyjacks despite the weather. Brilliant location for holiday with a doggie. Excellent facilities nearby within easy access, a gym and beauty parlour both 5 Star - walks and good food and coop and Tesco. Highly recommend.

Past Customer,

A S,

Great location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice to have the underfloor heating and new bathroom downstairs . Garden perfect for the dog . Just over ten minute walk to sea front and handy to have Tesco/co-op at the end of the road .

Phoebe H,

It’s a very attractive property, close to the town & amenities. And the beach! My dealings with Suffolk Secrets & Original cottages were very good, I received all the info, including the key safe number, when I was supposed to, there wasn’t any chasing up needed. My housekeeping deposit was returned promptly too.

Tracy B,
