Take your loved ones to the charming historic town of Aldeburgh in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is filled with fascinating architecture, hiking trails and expansive beaches. This two-bedroom property which also caters for one canine companion is elegant and bright with pastel-painted, chic interiors and an open fire in the lounge.

Step inside and soak up the tranquil atmosphere in the sitting room with a sofa, open fire and a TV. The open-plan living area is spacious and airy with a pale, one-wall kitchen plus a dining table with chairs. Next to this is an additional seating area which oozes charm with romantic white French chic decor and a reading area beside the coffee table. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two charming and peaceful bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite and a twin room. There is also a small outdoor space with a bistro set for dining alfresco.

Start your day with a stroll along the beach (less than 500 metres) into the centre of Aldeburgh (within 0.5 miles). Here you’ll find a handful of cosy cafes, independent restaurants and boutique shops among the picturesque historic buildings. On a rainy day, there is a cinema and two museums to visit. Golfing fanatics can spend an afternoon at the golf club (1.5 miles). Stroll along the River Alde (0.5 miles) and discover the Snape footpath (X miles). The Haven Nature Reserve Aldeburgh is 1 mile away and if you continue north you’ll reach Thorpeness (2.5 miles) which is home to The Fair Way boating lakes for a lazy afternoon on the water. Further afield you can find the 14th-century Leiston Abbey ruins (6 miles) and the traditional seaside town of Southwold (18.5 miles).

What a great cottage ,we could not have wished for more so well stocked with all of the equipment that you would need for a great stay. As we opened the cottage door we were greeted by a fabulous Christmas tree and lights all around the cottage and a fabulous welcome gift plus a tray for cooking the Christmas lunch in Thank you

Great location, having been to Aldeburgh several time before. The Small shower, flooded, that needs looking at, the dishwasher had a fault and we were invaded by Ants. None of these small issues would prevent a re booking, the accomodation was lovely, charming and idealley located.
