Saxtead Green is quietly situated in the heart of rural Suffolk, a good central base from which to explore all that the county has to offer. Saxtead Green Post Mill is a late 13th Century mill, which is still in working order and is now preserved as a museum. It is just two miles from the historic market town of Framlingham, with its famous castle, as well as being just a short drive from the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Easton Farm Park, Bruisyard Vineyard and Helmingham Hall are all nearby places to visit.

The skilful conversion of these farm buildings has transformed the old stables and hayloft into character holiday accommodation. They retain many of their original features and have countryside views over fields with sheep, geese and ducks. The Hayloft provides very attractive accommodation and features a very spacious first floor sitting room with all the original timbers and views over the lovely countryside.
